Quantifying and monitoring GHG emissions from livestock in Uganda is key to understanding their contribution to potential global warming and thus climate change. The information is also relevant in strategically proposing and designing appropriate climate-change mitigation strategies that are informed by demographic, geography, social structure and policy and economic environment around the livestock industry and influence/orientate focused and parallel investment plans in Uganda.
